{About Lori}

I’m not trying to change the world.  I’m not trying to make a million dollars.  I’m not trying to gain friends and influence people (well, the gaining friends part would be nice).

I’ve been there, done that.  This isn’t my first blogging rodeo.

I have a lot to say but I don’t have a lot of time.  Being married, having a teenage daughter that plays travel soccer, holding down a  full time job and going back to school for a 2nd Bachelor’s Degree will do that to you.   Every time I give up a blog because I don’t have the time to keep up with it, I’m back with a new one a week later.  I’ve started and stopped more blogs than I care to remember.  One lasted 2+ years, another actually won an award, all of the rest came and went without anyone noticing.  Obviously, I can’t give up the blog.  I just needed a different kind of blog.

What you can expect: everything and nothing.  Lori Out Loud comes with no promises, no guarantees.  This will not be a running blog or a food blog or a book blog or a healthy living blog, although I will likely write about all of those things.  This will not be a mommy blog even though I am a mom .  I certainly don’t have all the answers and I will not try to tell you how to raise your kids.  I’m also much more concerned about my family’s privacy and I plan to be very vague in my references to them.  I might post once a day for a week and then you might not hear from me for a month.  Don’t fret.  Like a bad rash, I always come back.

If you’ve read me before, thanks for sticking around.  If you’re new in town, thanks for giving me a try.  I’m really looking forward to seeing where this goes.
